Paper Sacks (Open Mouth) |

These sacks are biodegradable and easy to recycle. Our paper comes from managed forests and can therefore be promoted as environmentally friendly.
Advantages
High quality printing available from one colour up to multi colour (photographic style) enabling you to promote your products cost effectively. Lacquered finishes further enhance the appearance.
Paper gives excellent low slip stacking on pallets. Moisture or grease barriers can also be incorporated into the construction and resealable zip closures are available. Further environmental benefit comes from the modern high strength papers we use which allow packaging weight reduction
Typical Uses
Animal/bird feed, chemicals, minerals , plaster, building and refractory products. Carry home handles available in the smaller sizes and typically used for rice, charcoal, cat litter, pet foods etc.

Woven Polypropylene Bags and Rolls |

Woven polypropylene combines the advantages of high strength and low weight to make it an ideal packaging solution for many products. Polypropylene bags are one of the lowest cost types of packaging and polypropylene is also easy to recycle.
Advantages
Its woven construction minimises damage if the filled sack is snagged. The sacks are ideal for multi-trip use and can be used to minimise packaging requirements in line with the Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations. High quality promotional printing is available up to 4 colours.
They can be supplied in a variety of styles including coated cloth, lined (either sewn in or cuffed at the mouth) or with gussets. Coloured cloth is available to help identify the sack contents.

Typical Uses
These sacks are used in a multitude of industrial and agricultural applications for example sugar, grass seed, malt, pulses, peat, logs, nuts and bolts, animal feeds etc.
Rolls of cloth are available coated or uncoated, this is an ideal wrapper or protective layer in a wide variety of applications.
Black Agri-textile fabric is used as a groundcover and has excellent weed suppressing properties.

This cloth has good puncture resistance and excellent low weight / high strength characteristics. These bags are designed for automatic or semi automatic filling and the valve construction reduces dust contamination during the filling process.

Sandbags |
 |
Sandbags were originally designed as temporary flood defences and for military applications. They were originally available only in hessian material but are now manufactured in different grades of both hessian and woven polypropylene with the end use determining the most suitable material.
Advantages and Uses
Normal duty woven polypropylene: Ideal for used for temporary flood defences, stabilising temporary road signs and weighing down agricultural netting.
Heavy duty UV stabilised woven polypropylene and normal grade hessian cloth constructions are more robust and are ideal for extended temporary uses. They are sometimes used in conjunction with a weak cement mix to stabilise water ways, banks etc. An extended life, rotproofed version of the hessian bag is also available
Heavy duty rot proofed hessian sandbags manufactured to BS1214:1977 are more suited for use in extreme conditions. We have supplied this sandbag to the Ministry of Defence for over 40 years.
