Our woven polypropylene bags are now available to buy online. These bags combine the advantages of high strength and low weight  to make it an ideal packaging solution for many products. Polypropylene bags are one of the lowest cost types of packaging and polypropylene is also easy to recycle.

Its woven construction minimises damage if the filled sack is snagged.  The sacks are ideal for  multi-trip use and can be used to minimise packaging requirements in line with the Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations. High quality promotional printing is available up to 4 colours.

Valve fill woven polypropylene bags are mainly produced from coated cloth using 3mm or 5mm wide tapes.  These bags also combine the advantages of high strength and low weight  to make them an ideal packaging solution for many products. Polypropylene bags are one of the lowest cost types of packaging and polypropylene is also easy to recycle.

This cloth has good puncture resistance and excellent low weight / high strength characteristics.  These bags are designed for automatic or semi automatic filling and the valve construction reduces dust contamination during the filling process.

Sandbags were originally designed as temporary flood defences and for military applications. They were originally available only in hessian material but are now manufactured in different grades of both hessian and woven polypropylene with the end use determining the most suitable material. We are pleased to offer our customers facility to buy sandbags online.

Normal Duty Woven Polypropylene: Ideal for used for temporary flood defences, stabilising temporary road signs and weighing down agricultural  netting.

Heavy duty UV stabilised woven polypropylene and normal grade hessian cloth constructions are more robust and are ideal for extended temporary uses. They are sometimes used in conjunction with a weak cement mix to stabilise water ways, banks etc.   An extended life, rotproofed version of the hessian bag is also available

Heavy duty rot proofed hessian sandbags manufactured to BS1214:1977 are more suited for use in  extreme conditions. We have supplied this sandbag to the Ministry of Defence for over 40 years.

Hessian (also known as jute) bags and cloth are produced from jute, which is grown annually as a renewable crop. It is a natural fibre and therefore biodegradable.  This makes it is a very environmentally friendly product .

A tough  and reusable biodegradable packaging.

Our 20x31" bag is avaialble in two cloth weights, the 214gsm cloth has a more open weave to giver greater breathability and the 270gsm version has improved durability for multiple uses.  The 214gsm cloth is also available in a 34" length bag

Hessian sacks are ideal for for potatoes, coffee, cocoa beans, nuts etc.

As a guide the 20"x31" and 20"x34" bags are ideal for 25 kilos of potatoes.  The 23.5"x43" bag is ideal for 50 kilos of potatoes and it is also great for sack racing!!

To ensure a long service life the bags are manufactured from tough and durable woven polypropylene developed to meet specific tensile strength and abrasion criteria.  The bags are sewn using two rows of lockstitch which prevents the hem from unravelling should it become damaged in use  

The mail bags also have an innovative system of 4 hooks evenly spaced around the mouth, this enables them to hang in a frame and allows the mail to be dropped in

The bags are typically loaded to a maximum of 11kg.  However to allow for shock loads and to ensure a long service life each hook has been designed to withstand a force of 30kg.

Bags are supplied unprinted ex stock however they can be printed to your requirements subject to a 5000 minimum order quantity
